Extending the rigidity of some attacks of “Kukai”.Increased the consumption magic power of the youkai technique “Ox-Head Demon”.Adjusted the amount of magical power added for all attacks with “axe”, “dual wield”, “kusarigama”, “hatchet”, and “bare hand”.
Adjusted the amount of magical power added and the amount of attribute accumulation for some attacks of “Training Club” downward. Adjusted the martial arts martial arts “Ryuhatsu” to make it easier to get out of the strong attacks in the middle stage. Adjusted the homing of the back martial art “Wolf Hand” upward. Adjusted the forward distance of the back martial art “Shinkage Leg” upward. In Naginata Kama martial arts “Random Cutting Wheel”, enable the back hit of the returning part and adjust the damage downward (total damage including the back bonus increases). Adjusted to make it easier to hit the Naginata Kama martial art “Void Leg”. Adjusted the forward distance of the Odachi martial art “Ura Hammer” upward. Adjusted the homing of the slamming attack of the Kusarigama martial art “Rantenryu” upward. Nioh 2 is available now on PlayStation 4 and update 1.23 is live.

You can see the full list or read through the whole thing here (keep in mind the English list has not been released yet, so you will have to use translate, which the notes below are also based on). It also has a host of tweaks to weapons and enemies, alongside a ton of bug fixes as well. It will add another level to the Depths of the Underworld, a 6th one, that’s said to add more double boss fights and even some triple ones if you really want to go to the limit. Update 1.23 is live now and includes quite a lot of material. Before that, though, it seems we have at least one more fairly large update. The beginning of next month will see the game launch on PC as well as a remastered version on PS5.
It got three major expansions, and also has gotten smaller updates ever since its launch. Like the first game in the series, Nioh 2 has enjoyed a lot of constant updates.
